Petsafe Indoor Radio Fence (Wireless)
The Petsafe Indoor Radio Fence® establishes boundaries or “electronic fences” inside your home. An *unlimited number of pets (cats or dogs) can use the system at one time. Signal range is adjustable and is safe, easy and most of all - effective. Ideal for keeping pets out of kitchen, baby's room, off rugs, furniture etc. Stops cats scratching up furniture - period. It can be used alone or as an add-on to any of the other Petsafe™ containment systems. Using the Petsafe Petsafe-PIG00-11006 PetSafe Deluxe Underground Cat Containment Fence Receiver, Receiver can be adjusted to cats temperament (4 levels, plus tone only)!
With pet containment systems, YOU design, lay out, and control the wire boundary. When your dog approaches a boundary, it receives a warning signal (beep). If it keeps going, and gets too close to the boundary, your dog receives a correction (static shock). Soon your dog will know the difference between “safe areas” and “out of bounds.”
The Petsafe system comes with a transmitter, 12 inches in diameter. The transmitter has a signal range of 2 to 20 feet in diameter. The signal can work through walls, but the range may be reduced. When a pet wearing a receiver collar approaches the signal, the collar produces a warning beep, followed by a static correction if the animal doesn't back away.
