The Lovetts 4401 Dual Speaker Beeper Collar is for use in both wet and dry environments. This Dual Speaker Beeper Collar has touch-button controls that let you select four different modes: Point Only, Point and Run, Grouse Point Only and Grouse Point and Run. The Lovetts Beeper Collar w/ Dual Speakers has a protected on/off switch. This beeper collar also has an adjustable top-mounted, highly audible speaker. The Lovetts Dual Speaker Beeper Collar - 4401 operates for over 100 hours on one 9-volt battery.

Lovetts 4401 Dual Speaker Beeper Collar (formerly Scotts) Operating Modes are:
- Mode 1: Normal, Point Only - After dog is still 8 seconds, it will beep 1 time per second.
- Mode 2: Normal, Point & Run – As above when pointing, will beep 2 times every 8 seconds while dog is running and after dog is still 8 seconds, it will beep 1 time per second.
- Mode 3: Grouse, Point Only - After dog is still 4 seconds, it will beep 1 time per second.
- Mode 4: Grouse, Point & Run – As above when pinting, will beep 2 times every 4 seconds while dog is running and after dog is still 4 seconds, it will beep 1 time persecond. To change 4401 Dual Speaker Beeper Collar modes: Press the on button again within five seconds of turning the unit on (or just continue to hold it down) to advance to the next operating mode. Each time the mode changes, the corresponding number of chirps will be heard. The unit will loop back to mode one after mode four.

To turn the Lovetts 4401 Dual Speaker Beeper Collar off: Press the off button (the red one closest to the speaker) and hold until a click is heard, continue holding. The unit will begin cycling through the various speaker tones. Release the off button when you hear the desired tone. The choices are low speaker only, high speaker only, high and low speaker together, and alternating high and low speaker.
Placing the Lovetts 4401 Dual Speaker Beeper Collar on dog: Put the collar around dogs neck just as if it were an ordinary collar. The molded battery/electronics unit should be snug beneath dogs neck and should not swing or move when dog is stationary. The speaker should be on top, between the dogs ears. Both the speaker and electronics unit are movable on the collar. Place Lovetts 4401 Dual Speaker Beeper Collar in front of an ordinary collar. Do not attach a leash to the beeper collar.
Changing Battery on the Lovetts 4401 Dual Speaker Beeper Collar: Unit uses standard 9V alkaline battery. Use a coin to unscrew the battery compartment plug. After changing battery, tighten plug securely into battery compartment until it is flush. You will have to reset the operating mode and speaker tone after changing battery. |
