The Cat Stop is easy to use and setup. Place the Cat-Stop unit facing the area you want to protect. The Cat Stop has a built-in motion sensor that detects a cat entering the area and emits a piercing, high decibel ultrasonic alarm. The CatStop startles the cat and frightens it away. Since the sound of the CatStop is ultrasonic you and your neighbors cannot hear it. The CatStop aka Cat Stop is intended for and highly effective on cats , CatStop does not have significant and reliable effectiveness on dogs and other animals. Sometimes the CatStop may be effective on small dogs (under 20 pounds) with passive personalities - there are no guarantees.
